Rescheduled – MELT 4-Week Series at East Meets West Yoga

This 4-week series of classes is for both new and experienced MELTers and will be held Saturday, April 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Learn simple and easy techniques to enhance your wellbeing and improve your performance. The MELT Method is for everyone at every age and meets you where you are, whether you are active or sedentary. MELT enables you to do more of the things you love!
Using specialized small balls and a soft roller to simulate manual therapy, participants typically experience immediate changes during the first class, such as breathing more easily, more fluid range of motion, reduced pain, and relaxation.
Over four weeks, participants typically experience longer-term benefits, such as increased athletic performance, more restorative sleep, decreased everyday aches and pains, and simply feeling better overall.
Everything needed to learn MELT is provided for use during the classes. Feel free to bring a personal yoga mat, if preferred.
Arrive 15 minutes early and well hydrated. Hydration is a key element of MELT, so bring a bottle of water to drink during and after each class.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement and access to your hands, forearms, and feet. Plan to remove all rings, watches, bracelets, shoes, and socks during the classes.
Each participant will receive an email with a link to electronic copies of the techniques learned during the classes.
MELT Method Hand and Foot Treatment Kits and MELT Soft Rollers will be available to purchase after the classes.
Vanessa trained directly with Sue Hitzmann, the creator of the MELT Method, to become your instructor and is excited to help you incorporate MELT into your self-care routine. In addition to MELT Method Workshops and classes, Vanessa teaches alignment focused yoga and seated yoga. MELT and yoga are for everybody and every body and Vanessa cultivates a welcoming class environment that is open to all ability levels.
Please refer to venue websites for location details. Please arrive 15 before the event start time, as doors lock promptly at the start time and late arrivals will not be admitted or refunded. A MELT class or workshop requires participants to get down on the floor and back up on their own. Participants will sit on yoga mats on the floor and lay on their spine using a soft roller. MELT meets you where you are, so if you are unable to fully participate in a class or workshop, please schedule a customized private session
